South Pacific Viscose (SPV) member of the Lenzing Group is located in Purwakarta, West Java. The company has been a producer of viscose staple fibers and sodium sulfate since 1982. The initial fiber production capacity has risen from 120,000 to 150,000 tons p.a. The capacity for sodium sulfate is currently at 90.000 tons p.a.

For our rapid expanding company, we are looking for professionals, dynamic, self-motivated and dedicated person to fill the following positions:


Job and Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and quality assurance as per company policy to minimize the risk of industrial injuries and to meet company governmental regulation
• Provides affective project engineering service to fiber plant, chemical plant and environment department in accordance with legal and environmental regulation on a professional technical standard
• Ensure execution of capital projects and modifications within budget in collaboration with other departments, production and contractors
• To plan and control project budget and cost, initiate counteractive measure if there are variations in coordination with project controller
• Ensure time execution of all capital projects and modifications assigned
• Provides effective leadership , incorporating effective communication , motivation and participative management
• Designs and performs project commissioning and implementing including handling over the system as per procedure

Required qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Have an experience in project minimum 10 years with total project cost USD 5 – 7 Millions
• Deep knowledge about International Engineering Standard
• Having experience minimum 7 years in chemical processing company
• English fluent is a mandatory 
• Willing to be placed in Purwakarta – West Java

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum STM
• Having 5 years experience in similar position
• Good experience for small or medium scale projects in a continuous process industries / EPC contractors / consultants
• Good experience in making drawings in AutoCAD release 2000 and above for P&ID’s, piping layout, isometrics, support, equipments, pressure vessels for the process industries.
• Good knowledge on international standards for design, materials, fabrication and Dimension, etc
• Able to make all site measurements, change lay out to suite site requirement, produce as-build drawings etc 
• Willing to be placed in Purwakarta

Required qualifications and skills:

• Min D3 - Mechanical Engineering from well known university
• 5 - 7 years experience as Project Supervisor in Chemical Industry or Manufacturing
• Applicant must have an experienced in project execution to meet project target such as in controlling budget, quality control and safety inspection.
• Good supervision capability to manage team of field workers and able to execute the job at site
• Able to read and interpret the equipment and piping layout, isometrics, supports, Bill of material independently 
• Good knowledge for assembling the machinery parts, various type of welding processes
• Good knowledge in Computer Applications such as MS Office, MS Project, SAP, AutoCAD, etc 
• Highly motivated and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Ability to start work immediately
