Responsibilities

• Categorizing web content under existing taxonomy and helping determine its evolution.
• Describe web sites to effect concise abstracts useful to search engines. 
• Making judgments about the quality and appropriateness of web content sources. 
• Performing relevance tests designed to measure data quality across Yahoo’s search products. 
• Analyzing user behavior and making recommendations based on those observations. 
• Communicating directly with customers via email about web content submitted to Yahoo! 
• Able to program journalistic content working in cooperation with the news editors and product managers

Experience

• A minimum of two years’ working experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Arts/Social Sciences.
• Excellent written and spoken English. 
• Excellent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia. 
• Extensive awareness of American culture, pop culture, and general knowledge. 
• Extensive internet experience either from a previous job or personal use. 
• Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm or more.

Competencies

• Acute knowledge of current affairs and trends
• Knowledge of search engines, searching the Web, and online trends. 
• Able to describe Search experiences in their market. 
• Familiarity with online social networking products. 
• Ability to multitask on several projects including setting and structuring priorities. 
• Experience in reading and classifying large volumes of data into complex classification schemes a plus. 
• Ability to assess authoritativeness, topical pertinence, and overall quality of web pages. 
• Ability to work independently within a team setting. 
• Ability to think in the abstract 
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, and basic web page design is a plus.

• Cultivate and foster relationships with Yahoo!’s top advertisers. Develop and implement strategies to expand clients’ accounts across Yahoo! ad product portfolio.
• Provide quarterly sales projections on a weekly basis.
• Knowledge and understanding of all internal systems to effectively responding to and proactively reaching out on specialized client requests and up-selling opportunities.
• Handling and diffusing conflicts that arise with clients and accounts.
• Arbitrate and mitigate internal conflicts.
• Contribute to the creation and ongoing improvement of internal business processes and team processes, including but not limited to heading up special projects, meetings and team events.
• Ensure full compliance with Yahoo! ad sales standards, policies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 4 or more years total individual sales experience; advertising sales experience preferred 3 or more years experience directly managing a fast-paced, quality-focused sales and service organization.
• preferably 1 or more year online advertising sales experience
• Proven history of successfully attaining or exceeding aggressive goals Ability to work towards common goals in a group sales environment.
• Professional demeanor.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication(written and verbal) skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel), PowerPoint, word processing (MS Word) and CRM systems.
• Basic statistical analysis.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually.
• Able to reach out and build relationships with other teams across the organization.
