Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow through all Purchase Requisitions raised by requestors
• To ensure timely delivery of parts for production
• Source and negotiate for parts that meet both customer’s specification and cost objectives
• Strive continuously for lower purchase cost and longer credit terms
• Study the full product lines, becoming an expert in product knowledge, seek out new products that will help increase the company’s profitability
• Attend to requests for quotations as assigned promptly by internal users
• Review with suppliers on part quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are taken by suppliers or service providers

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent background
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience and sourcing/buying in mechanical raw materials in O&G environment
• Strong suppliers database (local and overseas)
• Good knowledge in custom clearance, tax, and banking process
• Bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia both oral and written
• Willing to be based in Batam
• Interview will be conducted in Batam
