Operation Superintendent – PERLAK (Aceh) Based


Summary
Lead and direct the production and maintenance team to optimize and maintain the production facilities and wells, manage production & maintenance programs for non-reserve assets by developing and implementing strategic production & maintenance management systems for the profitable operation of all surface and sub-surface equipment and facilities of an assigned field to achieve established objectives in the safest, most productive manner while remaining within approved budget and guidelines of company policies.

Areas Of Responsibility
  • Well operation (wire line, etc)
  • Production facilities operation
  • Crude lifting & transportation operation
  • Lab/ product QA/QC
  • Production administration ( data entry, etc)

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Promote and encourage safety and operational integrity
  • Comply with HSE policies and procedures and achieve all HSE objectives
  • Coordinate oil production operations
  • Provide competent technical, service support and methods in maintaining the new and existing facilities as well as ensure highest equipment and facility reliability, availability and uptime to achieve optimum peak production safety, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain production quality and flow-rate to meet oil production target
  • Control and minimize expenses 
  • Develop and meet capital expenses forecast
  • Maintain resources reliability (manpower, equipment, tools, etc)
  • Coordinate and develop training programs to ensure the Production Supervisors and operators acquire relevant training to be fully competent in production operations systems
  • Determine, specify and control stock of materials and spare parts for operation, tools and equipment related to production field operation (well and facilities).
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team to provide leadership, action plan and expertise relating to emergency situations 
  • Interface with production, engineering, maintenance and support service groups

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience with a strong Oil & Gas operating company.
  • Relevant hands-on relevant field management experience in operation, production and maintenance 
  • Good knowledge of and proven working experience in HSE and QA/QC
  • Strong problem solving and coaching skills
